The primary symptom of coronary artery disease (CAD) is chest pain, often associated with breathing difficulties, dizziness or nausea. It is difficult to determine whether chest pain is related to the heart or not.\u00b9 Because of this, healthcare professionals will refer patients to cardiology specialists for increasingly invasive and costly examinations.\u00b2 The most common steps in diagnosing significant CAD can include general medical examination, exercise ECG, stress imaging, echocardiography, coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) and invasive coronary angiogram.<\/p>
